Directions

Well Friendship Heights street entrance is located at 5402-A Wisconsin Ave., Chevy Chase, MD 20815 on the corner of Wisconsin Ave. and Western Ave. The entrance is approximately 100 feet from the Friendship Heights Metro Station on the Red Line.

Driving

From I-270 and I-495

  • From I-270, merge onto I-495 E toward College Park/Silver Spring

  • Take exit 87 to merge onto MD-185 S/Connecticut Ave. toward Chevy Chase

  • Merge onto MD-185 S/Connecticut Ave.

  • Turn right onto MD-191/Bradley Lane

  • Turn left onto MD-355 S/Wisconsin Ave.

  • To access the parking garage, turn right onto Willard Ave., then left onto Friendship Blvd. The entrance is on Friendship Blvd. behind Bloomingdales.

  • Once in the parking garage, members are recommended to park on P1 or P2. Follow the signs within the garage pointing to the metro and Well by Kaiser Permanente. Use the glass doors toward Metro access, then take the escalator or stairs on your left to street level.

  • Once on street level, Well is immediately on your left. The address is 5402-A Wisconsin Ave. on the corner of Wisconsin Ave. and Western Ave.

From Downtown Washington, DC using Massachusetts Avenue

  • Follow Massachusetts Ave. NW

  • Continue on Massachusetts Ave. NW through Scott and Ward Circles

  • At Westmoreland Cir. NW, take the first exit onto Western Ave. NW

  • To access the parking garage, turn right onto Friendship Blvd. The entrance is on Friendship Blvd. behind Bloomingdales.

  • Once in the parking garage, members are recommended to park on P1 or P2. Follow the signs within the garage pointing to the metro and Well by Kaiser Permanente. Use the glass doors toward Metro access, then take the escalator or stairs on your left to street level.

  • Once on street level, Well is immediately on your left. The address is 5402-A Wisconsin Ave. on the corner of Wisconsin Ave. and Western Ave.

From Downtown Washington, DC using North Capitol Street

  • Follow North Capitol St. NE north

  • Turn left onto Missouri Ave. NW

  • Use the left lane to turn right onto Georgia Ave. NW, then immediately turn left onto Missouri Ave. NW

  • Continue onto Military Road NW

  • Use any lane to turn left onto Western Ave. NW

  • To access the parking garage, turn right onto Friendship Blvd. The entrance is on Friendship Blvd. behind Bloomingdales.

  • Once in the parking garage, members are recommended to park on P1 or P2. Follow the signs within the garage pointing to the metro and Well by Kaiser Permanente. Use the glass doors toward Metro access, then take the escalator or stairs on your left to street level.

  • Once on street level, Well Friendship Heights is immediately on your left. The address is 5402-A Wisconsin Ave. on the corner of Wisconsin Ave. and Western Ave.

Metro

  • From train platform, take Western Ave. exit

  • After taking escalators toward street level, follow Wisconsin/Western Ave. exit, bear left toward Wisconsin Place, and take stairs up

  • At the top of the stairs, go right and around the corner, and the escalators/stairs will lead you to street level. Well Friendship Heights is immediately on your left.

ADA accessible

  • Exit the Friendship Heights metro station using the exit to East side Wisconsin Ave., NW at Western Ave. (elevator)

  • Proceed north on Wisconsin Ave. toward the intersection of Western Ave.

  • Use the crosswalks at the intersection of Wisconsin Ave. and Western Ave. to the NW corner, the Shops at Wisconsin Place

  • Well Friendship Heights is next to the Western Ave. exit of the metro station. Ramps are available in the courtyard near the exit.

Parking garage wayfinding

The parking garage entrance is on Friendship Blvd. behind Bloomingdales. Members are recommended to park on P1 or P2. 

Follow the signs within the garage that point to the metro and Well by Kaiser Permanente. Use the glass doors toward Metro access. On your left, take the escalator or stairs to street level. Well Friendship Heights is immediately on your left. 

The entrance to the parking garage is on Friendship Blvd. behind Bloomingdales. Members are recommended to park on P1 or P2. Following signs within the garage pointing to the metro and Well by Kaiser Permanente. toward the metro and ‘Well by Kaiser Permanente’ within the garage, use the glass doors to Metro access and take the escalator or stairs on your left to street level. Once on street level, the Well Friendship Heights clinic will be immediately on your left.

ADA accessible

Proceed to the elevator bank in the center of the garage. Take the elevator to the ground level. Proceed towards the courtyard (Capital Grille) and turn left towards the corner of Wisconsin Ave and Western Ave. Proceed along the shops towards the Metro entrance. The entrance to Well Friendship Heights will be immediately on your left.

Parking garage validation

Kaiser Permanente provides validation for 2 hours of parking in The Shops at Wisconsin Place parking garage. Please ask clinic staff for a parking validation ticket before you leave the medical center. Upon exiting the garage, you will be asked to insert the initial parking ticket you received upon entering the garage followed by the validated ticket provided to you by Kaiser Permanente.
